DIGITAL LITERACY

What does it entail?

"The intellectual empowerment model argues that literacy can bring about the transformation of thinking capacities, particularly when new cognitive tools, such as writing, or new processing tools, such as those relying on digital technology, are developed"

Digital Literacy is the awareness, attitude, and ability of individuals to appropriately use digital tools and facilities to identify, access, manage, integrate, evaluate, analyze and synthesize digital resources, construct new knowledge, create media expressions, and communicate with others, in the context of specific life situations, in order to enable constructive social action; and to reflect upon this process. (Martin $ Grudziecki, 2015)

The internet and modern technology have changed the way society communicates and operates, transforming education. By learning how to use the devices, apps, tools, and resources in this guide, you’ll be better prepared for success in your academic career.
